National Common Mobility Card (NCMC)
- Popularly known as “One Nation, One Card.”
- Purpose: To provide an automatic fare collection system for seamless transport mobility.
- Functionality:
- Interoperable card usable across metro, bus, suburban rail, and other transport systems.
- Smartphones can be turned into virtual NCMC cards, allowing commuters to pay digitally.
- Significance: Promotes Digital India, financial inclusion, and convenience for urban commuters.
Project-SMART (Station Area Development along Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail)

- To develop the surrounding areas of Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Railway (MAHSR) stations.

- Strengthens Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) in India.
- Builds institutional capacity of state governments, municipal corporations, and urban development authorities.
- Acts as a model for station-led urban development across India.
